We're going to move!

Every year Mother made our Christmas card. She usually used a stencil that she cut out with an exacto knife. Then she daubed paint over the stencil. This year she made a special card: it was a map showing our new house: Inside she wrote a letter:

The house wasn't quite finalized by Christmas so I don't know if she sent this card to anyone except family. The one I have was the one she sent to Grandmother and Aunt Elizabeth in Charleston. You can see from the map that the house is just on the other side of the Golf Course from our old barn-house. Everyone was really excited about having our own house! I'll tell you more about it after Christmas.
